Brittani Nichols is a Los Angeles based comedy person. As you can see, she has a professional website because she is a professional. You probably have never seen her writing on the internet (Autostraddle, Jezebel, Huffington Post, Elixher, Buzzfeed) or on the television (Billy on the Street, The Collective, The Xperiment, Yo, Is This Racist) but it's there. Brittani's pilot, Words With Girls, premiered at HBO/BET's Urbanworld Film Festival and is now available online at Color Creative TV. Brittani is a recurring character on Season 2 of Amazon's Emmy-nominated, Transparent and has two podcasts: Brand New Podcast and Hamilton the Podcast. She's represented by Circle of Confusion and Innovative Artists. Suicide Kale, her first feature, has won numerous awards including the Audience Award for First US Narrative Feature at Outfest. You can see upcoming screenings here.
Brittani was born in Chicago but mostly lived in South Holland which is five minutes from River Oaks Mall which is just another place whose location means nothing to you. Brittani enjoys many fake accolades such as Best Twitter Feed to Never Be on a List of the Best Twitter Feeds, Most Convincingly Bitter Comedian, and Saddest Black Person. She also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.
Brittani currently performs stand-up, improv, sketch, and any other form of comedy you can think of. She's performed in shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (LA and New York), on iO West's Mainstage, and at the Downtown Independent Theater along with other fun places like a hostel. Upcoming performances can be found on the Shows page unless she forgets or is too lazy to update it then no they can't.
